Fine Art Prints and Giclees

Dawn uses the finest quality giclee printing methods for her fine art prints.

Pronounced "jhee-clay", giclee is a sophisticated inkjet printing method. It merges the use of professional grade large format printers with archival pigment inks, acid free watercolor papers and canvas. By using custom profiles, precise color correction and expert scanning, pigment printing can render subtle gradations and many colors that would be out of range with other technologies. All art substrates used are archival and acid free.

Giclees are a fraction of the cost of originals, they are a superior product to other types of reproductions, they can be printed in virtually any size on either paper or canvas, and they are archival and will resist fading. Iris Giclee prints are perfect for hotels, corporations, restaurants, medical, senior living facilities, and residential clients that have specific artwork needs.

Iris-Giclee printing is the highest quality standard for printing single or limited edition pieces on paper or canvas. Dawn's prints are of such quality that many people assume they are original artwork when they see them in your home or business. Iris-Giclee prints are created by spraying millions of droplets of natural dyes onto fine art watercolor paper or heavy artist canvas. Artists and art buyers alike appreciate the feel of the prints and are impressed with their exceptional detail and brilliant color saturation not found in serigraphs, canvas transfers, and lithographs. The giclee printing process provides better color accuracy and detail than any other means of reproduction.

Giclee prints are now commonly found in art galleries and museums.
